Welcome to the website of Ardan Gajdosovci

Here, I showcase my artistic journeys of voicework, poetry, sculpture, composing and songwriting as well as information on Recording Habitat Studio here in Kingston, NY where the options and spirit are wide open for sonic creativity.

I design and conduct workshops on the recording arts, as a single pop-up or as a series, at your location or here at the studio.

More about Dan

Recording Habitat Studio

Impressive, extraordinary reference monitoring clarity. A playground for your creativity. Studio technology to get it done. We hear miraculous sounds all day every day. It's rare that we appreciate the amazing symphony of sound that we are always hearing. It's because we can sample, store and play back these miraculous events, that we begin to understand ourselves, our love for each other and global unity.

2nd Wind reboots with a new name, Return of Litha

"Whether met with acclaim, curiosity, or quiet rediscovery, one thing is certain: after the moves, the breakdowns, the cold Brooklyn nights with nothing but fire and fidelity—they're still here. And so is the music."

Versatile voicings

Voiceover work for announcements, narration, and more.

Composer/Songwriter

"Novus modus operandi"

Ardan on Soundcloud

When I get a book, I write in it. Like this. Anytime I get an instrument, I write with it. I hear it show me what it wants to play. Someday I may be more interested in what others did with their books and instruments, but in the meantime they're still teaching me and channeling rivers of creativity for me to ride, and relay to the world.

Poetry and Storytelling (Writing works available on Amazon)

Sculpture

The musics, rhythms, patterns, shapes, textures, sounds and expressions of wood both through the air and through the earth. Woods are not seen, felt, heard or touched as excitedly and reverently as wood truly acts: and reacts. We are the witnesses of the evolution of wood. This exhibition reveals our intrinsic partnership with wood.

Audio Recording education

Let's design a pop-up sound/music workshop or a workshop series and discover how we can hear what we didn't hear, see what we didn't see, feel what we didn't feel and know what we didn't know! Workshops can be tailored to enhance a related curriculum, or an idea generated by the group: the nature of sound, acoustics, perception, healing-from and creativity-with sounds and musics and effects and noises.
